1. Comprehensive consult consists of
- personal review of all medical records provided through our HIPPA secure platform,
- written report summarizing evidence-based recommendations and
- a 40 min virtual follow up with the provider for debrief and further Q&A regarding patient assessment. The comprehensive consultation report will be provided to the referring provider within 5 business days.
2. Curbside consult consists of an up to 40 min discussion with the provider regarding a case of interest in respect to diagnosis, work up and possible treatment options.
3. Follow up consult consists of up to 40 min discussion with the provider regarding a case that has been evaluated by Dr Kontzias within the past 6 months. Possible reasons for follow up could be new patient data (clinical, laboratory, imaging, genetic), therapeutic history updates or change of patient clinical status.

If you are a patient in need of second opinion for a possible autoimmune and/or autoinfammatory condition please have your physician contact me. Physicians of any specialty can ask for a second opinion on behalf of their patients as long as there are records from a primary rheumatologist/immunologist. The comprehensive consultation report will be provided to the referring provider within 5 business days. Your provider can share the report with you at your request.
